H.E The Governor speaks to the clergy during a breakfast prayer at Maasai discovery guest house Kitengela

The Governor of Kajiado County Dr. David Nkedianye has told the clergy and the entire religious leaders that they will not be charge to preach in crusades

Speaking during a prayer breakfast at Maasai discovery guest house Kitengela when he met the religious leaders of Kitengela, Dr. David Nkedianye said peace is paramount in Kitengela and the entire county.

“ we want everybody to live in harmony regardless of your tribe, where you come from and with the support of the clergy we as the county government will succeed.” Said the governor

He added that pastors should preach peace in their churches.

“Preach to your congregation to live as brothers and sisters because Kajiado is a peaceful county. If every pastor talk his or her follower and the chaos that happened in Kitengela will never happen again. We want people to go to church together and do many other things like business together.” Said the governor

The Governor said the county government plan to change the day of the market from Sunday

“We want to change the day of the market from Sunday to another day so that people can get time and go to church and pray for this county. “Said Nkedienye

The crusade will be held for free after the governor announced that the fees charge has been provoked.

The Governor said the market will be opened soon.
