WARD CLIMATE CHANGE COUNCILS WORKSHOP
The Workshop was officially opened by Mr James Ngugi Chief Officer-Kajiado County ,department of Environment,Natural Resources & Climate Change.
Following Projects prioritization and training needs exercise under the FLLoCA program held at the community level in all the 25 Wards in Kajiado County ,department of Water Services ,Environment &Natural Resources in collaboration with Kccwg_Kenya & Arid Lands Information Network – ALIN conducted a capacity building workshop for Kajiado Central and Kajiado East Ward Climate Change Councils on the proposed topics by the communities. Grievances redress mechanisms, project proposal develpoment,project cycle and environmental safeguards were among the topics mentioned by the communities.
