MORE MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS
H.E the Governor was in Kitengela Sub-County Hospital today to oversee The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) handover medical equipment’s to the institution. H.E applauded their efforts in boosting medical care in the County and urged them to continue with their unwavering partnership with the County Government by venturing into other areas of need in the County.
Towards achieving the CIDP plan of Universal Health Coverage H.E the Governor encouraged residents to take up NHIF cards whose mass registration was launched at Ngatataek Health Center. This is in line with the Governors manifesto pledge of strengthening preventive health care at community health services.
Accordingly, The Governor informed the residents that medical boards have been inaugurated to take charge of management of health services in all the major hospitals in the County. These boards will articulate all the concerns raised by residents to improve healthcare provision at grassroots level.
The County Government is committed to improve the road network within the radii of our hospitals to ensure that the general population served at these health facilities and beyond are adequately taken care of.
CECM in charge of heath Esther Somoire,Oloosirkon MCA Francis Kaesha and Kitengela MCA Paul Matuya among other County officials were present.
