GOVERNOR LENKU MEETS IFAW OVER AMBOSELI’S FUTURE
Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has today, on the sidelines of the African Climate Summit in Nairobi, met the IFAW CEO and President Azzedine Downes, and other senior officers of IFAW to continue the discussion on partnership with the county government in conservation, especially in light of the recent development of the President’s directive to have Amboseli managed by the County Government of Kajiado.
In this meeting the Governor highlighted his vision of a better Amboseli now and for generations to come. The President of IFAW gave his solid commitment in support of conservation in line with their vision of having animals and communities living and thriving together.
