The County Government commissioned three ECDE classes at Ilparua primary Kajiado Central Purko ward , led by the County boss H.E Dr.Nkedianye, his deputy Paul Ntiati , Executive member of Education Hon. Nairowua, CECM for Finance Keswe Mapena and other county officials.
Speaking during the meeting at Ilparua Primary where three ECDE classes are built, Dr. Nkedianye recommended the good job done.
Nkedianye reiterated the need of building the ECDE classes so as to relieve both parents and pupils the burden of travelling several miles so as to quench their thirst for education.
“Education is the key to every county development and my county is working hard to improve the education sector. We are building good ECDE classes all over the county because we want our children to get the best foundation when they are still young so that they can compete with other counties.” Said Nkedianye
The county chief said survey has beendone and over 7000 children who were at home and not accessing education, and we are proud that, that situation has change a lot and the county government has built more than 300 classes and employed 560 caregivers while still aiming to build more classrooms.
Outlining the challenge of wildlife in the area and calling for collaboration from wildlife to end the problem.
CS for Finance Keswe Mapena hailed the effort and urged the community to unity and avoid any political differences to help their children achieve their goals.
Education minister Hon. Jeremiah Nairowua addressed the ongoing projects of ECDE class as a good step and urged parents to fetch their children to school for better future. He added, education is the key to success and we should embrace it.
The community lauded the county government for projects as a way to eradicate poverty in the community. Urging the county government to support in curbing water scarcity in the area since it is one of the major challenge.
