GOVERNOR DONATES A 5 MILLION COOLANT TO KULE DAIRY.

Kajiado Governor Dr.David Nkedianye has donated a milk coolant worth 5million to Kule Dairy Cooperative Society.

Kajiado Governor Dr.David Nkedianye has donated a milk coolant worth 5million to Kule Dairy Cooperative Society. Nkedianye donated the cooling plant that has a capacity of holding 5000 litres of milk. Speaking during the launch of the Kule dairy cooperative society where he officially opened the Cooperative plaza that was built recently, The County’s president congratulated and applauded the cooperative society for the good work they have been doing in the last 45 years. Nkedianye also said that the dairy has done well by creating employment to many people especially the youths. “Kule dairy has set a very good example whereby they have made a big step by creating employment”. The dairy has exercised gender balance by giving women priority to take big tasks that shows Maa women are very much capable. The governor added that they will continue to support the cooperatives in the coming future and making sure they walk hand in hand in the journey through setting a good example to others. The CECM for Trade, Tourism and Cooperatives Florence Mutua, applauded Kule dairy cooperative society for the capability they have shown to others. “I thank the office of the governor for helping the trade ministry to donate the cooling plant through his office”. The area MCA Nathaniel Sinkeet also congratulated the cooperative for the brilliant idea they came up with from way back and for the good work they have been doing since its establishment. He also challenged and urged the members of the cooperative to expand their business by making ice cream and yoghurt so as to create more employment. Daniel Kanchori also urged the youths to stop engaging themselves in alcoholic drinks but rather take Kule dairy’s milk and improve on their health. The Kajiado East MP PerisTobiko congratulated the cooperative and gave out cheques worth Sh.100, 000 to other cooperative women groups who attended the event. The invited guests were Kajiado county governor David Nkedianye, his deputy Paul Ntiati, Area Mp Peris Tobiko, Area MCAs Daniel Kanchori and Nathaniel Sinkeet, County Commissioner Harsama Kello and Florence Mutua CECM Trade, Tourism and Cooperatives among others. The cooperative that is 45 years of age now was established in the year 1970 and has a total 289 members. The plaza incurs a 700,000 profit a month.
