Governor David Nkedianye joined Elangata Wuas primary school to receive a donation of 40 tablets from Yazmi Foundation before he toured Indupa primary for a celebration of brilliant results from last year’s candidates. Nkedianye accompanied with Education CECM Hon Jeremiah Nairowua and Chief Officer Education James Sankale lauded the donation as strategic and that will improve the quality of education in the school. The county boss said “We are here at Elangata Wuas primary school to receive 40 tablets that have been donated by the Yazmi foundation and they are going to help class five pupils. We are very grateful and looking forward to a very close collaboration between ourselves and Yazmi foundation and also Elangata Wuas primary school. We hope that the learning outcome should improve as a result of this collaboration, so we are very thankful to our donors and we also ask the teachers here to work very hard to improve on the mean score of the school.”

The Education CECM urged the teachers to work hard to improve on school performance since they are not impressing. He added that pupils should embrace on education as the only key to success.

Jeremiah Lanoi the headteacher articulated his gratitude’s to Yazmi Foundation for electing their school in the whole country to do the project of Yazmi computer. Lanoi added that the project will help the pupils in performance and improve the quality of education in the school. He extended his appreciation to the county president saying he has been close to us urging them to work hard to better performance in the school. He also remainded the governor his promises during his last visit to the school, that is the dormitory due to hardship of girls and title deeds in order to secure the school land. He also reckoned the county for the construction of 3 ECDE classrooms.

Daniel Koitamei the school chairman could not hide his joy urging pupils to use the opportunity to better their performance. Daniel said “you must utilize this opportunity since it always comes ones.”
