Kajiado is making big strides in its efforts to harness the potential of the Kenyan Diaspora community in transforming the County through technology.
Towards this end, I have today given a key note address during the DiasporaTech Partnership Conference held at the United States International University (USIU- Africa) in Nairobi.
The conference brings together key players and investors in the sector of technology and the digital economy which are proving to be a great job creator for our youth.
Great ideas have been exchanged on how we can leverage on technology in our service delivery as well as create economic opportunities for our people.
The key panelists with whom we directly engaged the participants were ICT and Digital Economy Principal Secretary, John Tanui, Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline Njogu, the CEO of Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA), John Paul Okwiri, USIU Vice- Chancellor, Prof Mwenda Ntaragwi, the chairman of Maa Diaspora Jacob Mayian among other heavy investors in the field of financial technology.
