Students of Mashuuru secondary school celebrate after the school got a new bus.

Kajiado County Deputy Governor Hon.Paul Ntiati Commissioned a school gate and a new school bus at Mashuru Secondary School, in Imaroro Ward Kajiado East Sub-County. He was accompanied by County Secretary Dr Kennedy Kerei, CECM for Education Hon. Jeremiah Nairowua, Area MCA Hon.Sayiore, TSC Chairman in kajiado county Elly Korinko and other county officals.

Speaking during the occasion the deputy governor lauded the school for not participating in the current unrest in the country. Urging teachers to involved the students in discussion where necessary in order to keep peace in school. “You must involve the students in discussion where necessary in order to maintain peace in school.” Ntiati Said

Articulating the community and all stakeholders to bond hands with the school administration to raise the standard of learning in the school.  He added that the school is the heartland of the county thus they must work harder to improve their mean grade. On security matters the deputy Governor warned people to maintain peace and report any insecurity case to the relevant authority.

The County Secretary who is also the new Chairman BOM of the school lauded the school for maintaining discipline and call all stakeholders to embark the school to achieved their goals.

CECM for Education challenged the residents of Imaroro ward to invest in the school if only they want a centre of excellence. Urging the area MCA that in the next financial year they should set aside amount for the school to see the standard of education has improved “If we want the level of education in this school to go higher you must invest in this school as Imaroro residents.” Nairowua said

The head teacher could not hide his joy after the milestone they achieved as a school, ovation to the county government for the support towards the school. He also promised the crowd better performance.
